This Cookie Policy explains how Brainy Oman("Brainy", "we", "us", "our") uses cookies and similar technologies on Brainy Oman (https://brainy.om). It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.

- For all visitors, the Oman Personal Data Protection Law (Royal Decree No. 6/2022), overseen by the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology (MTCIT), applies to the personal data that cookies and similar technologies may process.

1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They let the site remember your actions and preferences over time. We also use similar technologies such as local storage. In this policy, "cookies" refers to all of these.
Cookies can be:
- First-party (set by brainy.om) or third-party (set by another domain, such as an analytics provider).
- Session (deleted when you close your browser) or persistent (remaining until they expire or you delete them).
Brainy Oman is a marketing and portfolio site. We keep cookie use to a minimum. With your consent we measure visits (Google Analytics) and which of our Google ads bring enquiries (Google Ads). We do not run retargeting or ad-profiling cookies.
2. How we use cookies
We group cookies into categories. Strictly necessary cookies are always active. All other categories load only after you opt in.

The Google cookies above are set only after you opt in to the matching category, and they stop when you withdraw that consent. Adding them raised this policy to version 2, which is why the banner asked you again.
4. Third-party cookies
We use very few third parties on this Site. Our content delivery and security (CDN) provider may set a strictly necessary cookie to route and protect traffic. With your consent, Google sets the Google Analytics and Google Ads cookies listed above; see Google's privacy policy, because we do not control those cookies. We do not use any other third-party analytics or advertising cookies.
5. Your choices
Manage your consent
When you first visit Brainy Oman, a banner lets you Accept all, Reject all, or Customize your choices by category. You can revisit these choices at any time:

Rejecting non-essential cookies will not block access to the Site or any of its content. There is no cookie wall.
Global Privacy Control (GPC)
We honor the Global Privacy Control signal. If your browser or extension sends GPC, we treat it as an opt-out of analytics cookies and as a request not to sell or share your personal information. We do not sell or share personal data for advertising in any case.

We may update this Cookie Policy as our practices or the law change. When we make material changes, we update the version number and last-updated date above and re-prompt you for consent. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
